Bob Moes and his wife Nancy, opened Big Bear Muffler and Wheel Alignment on February 25, 1975. In the beginning, they only offered wheel alignments but after a few years, the need for brake work was in great demand, so that was added to the business. Then they started selling tires and doing suspension /shock work. Over the years, the shop has expanded into other accessories, including pick up truck caps, RV repairs, trailer hitches and more.
Robert (Bob) Moes and Nick Moes
The history of the Moes family is in the auto repair business. This began with Bob's grandfather, who owned a shop downtown. His father, Ed, opened Moes Repair shop next door in 1949.
Bob will be retiring next year and his son, Nick will be assuming the responsibilities of the family business.
"Our business is pretty much directly involved with the consumer. We try to repair every car like it's our own and if we can save the customer money, we will."
"We've had 40 years of good, honest service with the public." ...... Bob Moes, president/owner
